Gaius Unveils Versatile Rapide 3 Rescue Vehicle at RISCON TOKYO 2024!

Gaius Automotive is honored to showcase its innovative Rapide 3 electric tricycle at RISCON TOKYO between Oct. 9th and 11th 2024, Japan’s premier comprehensive trade exhibition dedicated to crisis management. The Rapide 3, recognized as an ideal commercial logistics vehicle, demonstrates exceptional mobility and customizable cargo space tailored for emergency rescue operations.

The RISCON TOKYO expo, focused on disaster prevention, mitigation, and safety, serves as a platform for showcasing products and services designed for effective emergency response. The CEO of Gaius, Anthony Wei, emphasizes the importance of timely rescue efforts in urgent situations. He states, “In the event of a disaster, a timely response is crucial. However, narrow spaces, traffic congestion, and obstacles can impede rescue vehicles. This can delay vital assistance. This is where Rapide 3 comes into play.”

The Rapide 3 combines the maneuverability of a motorcycle with the safety standards of a full-sized vehicle. Its patented tilting system and a 2.5-meter turning radius allow it to navigate through congested streets and access areas that larger vehicles cannot reach. The spacious cargo compartment is designed to carry a variety of rescue equipment, enabling rapid and versatile responses to emergencies. Gaius’s rescue vehicle, presented at the exhibition, is equipped with essential features such as flashing lights, warning beacons, sirens, and intercom systems. The 1,000-liter cargo capacity is designed to meet emergency demands, with customized compartments for carrying essential gear, including firefighting suits, first aid kits, lighting equipment, hoses, and pumps. This setup ensures a quick and effective response to incident scenes.

In addition to its agility and ample cargo space, the Rapide 3 is outfitted with a suite of automotive-grade safety systems, including blind spot detection, reverse cameras, front and rear cameras, ABS, and CBS braking systems. These features provide crucial protection, ensuring the vehicle’s safety during high-speed operations and showcasing its capability for flexible, reliable crisis management.

The Rapide 3 is undergoing homologation with plans for market availability set for 2025. Gaius Automotive is committed to enhancing emergency response capabilities through innovative solutions that prioritize safety and efficiency.
